A natural part of every being is sexuality. Each has a personal percentage of sexual desire. Sexual orientation is just as variable. Neither propensity within the scale of Homosexuality or Heterosexuality, or somewhere in the middle is neither bad or good. Everyone is as Good As You. You are Good As You. I am as good as you. We are all G.A.Y. Let us all accept everyone as individuals, be tolerant in variances, and be gay.
Sexual-diversity is not a choice. In a way the "Religious-Right" would have you believe that they are "pro-choice". I disagree with that view of "choice". I also disagree with the view of "right to life". Everyone is an individual, and has a right to choice. A parasite does not have the same rights as an individual. I also disagree with the view that an individual should loose one's individual "right to life", and be put to death. This is despite one's violation of an other's right to to have chosen life. The "religious right" are fundamentally wrong.
Neuro-diversity is not a choice. As an Aspie, I feel more comfortable in a closet, than to be with many people. I frequently come out of my closet with little sex drive. Although Aspie's can make poor parents, and I am grateful not to have children, I predominantly prefer women, and am also heterosexual. Aspie does not mean asexual. There is no cure for Autism just as there is no cure for "homosexuality".

What it is to be me
About what it is to be me (a self-identified Aspie)

This is a response to these comments.
I can tell you from personal experience that wide knowledge of the syndrome wasn't established until the 90's.
Be that as it may, I want to address the following hurtful things:
1) People who have Asperger's syndrome are like machines, because they use things like (gasp) logic and are immune to social cues.
2) People who are Aspies are more likely to be atheists, and are like unto machines.
3) That Aspies are identified as being so.
Now I could highlight so many things in the above paragraph as being off-center it isn't even funny. But first, let us start with the symptom list of Asperger's syndrome.
Not pick up on social cues and may lack inborn social skills, such as being able to read others' body language, start or maintain a conversation, and take turns talking.
I can tell you for a fact I had to train myself to see what certain aspects of body language actually mean. I still have difficulty with conversation. If someone says "hey, how 'bout those Mets?" I have no response. I am not interested in sports and my immediate reaction is that I have nothing to contribute to the statement. I have learned, with great difficulty, that when a person says such a thing what they are looking for is not so much a knowledge of the subject matter in question but simple validation and sharing of mutual humanity. Why that took many many years of intensive self training, I have no explanation -- only that it is so.

1958 - 2009 Personalities
Billy Mays died today at age 50. The American infomercial salesperson was born in 1958.
Other personalities born in 1958 include: Ellen DeGeneres, Bebe Neuwirth (Frasier), Jamie Lee Curtis, Tim Robbins (The Hudsucker Proxy (set in 1958)), Michael Winslow (Comedian, voice actor), Matt Frewer (Max Headroom), Andie MacDowell, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Annette Bening, Kevin Bacon, Holly Hunter, Alec Baldwin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jeff Foxworthy, and Sharon Stone.
People from Generation Jones are Jonesers, born between 1954 and 1965. This heretofore lost generation between the Boomers and GenXers, has emerged now as a bona fide distinct generation. The name comes from American slang, jonesing, meaning yearning. Now aged between 42 and 54, they were brought up to believe they could have it all, but found that they couldn't. jonesing: To have a strong need, desire, want, or craving for something. It comes from 'keeping up with the joneses'.... Of or pertaining to Indiana Jones type of behavior. i.e. A strong need or desire to do something adventurous.

1958 - 2009 Music
Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009
Madona 1958 -
Prince 1958 -
Other music artists born in 1958:
Joan Jett, Thomas Dolby, Gary Numan (Cars), Eric Singer (Kiss), Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), Belinda Carlisle (The Go-Go's), Bill Berry + Mike Mills (R.E.M.), Mary Chapin Carpenter (2/21/58), Ice-T, Grandmaster Flash, Andy Gibb 1958 - 1988.
Earlier today, I decided to wear the shirt that is shown on the above left. It has "Mic Jackson" on it. At that time, he was alive. I am still wearing it this late evening. Michael Jackson, now dead, is a kindred spirit. He was deprived of his childhood and his own life, badly treated by his father, misunderstood, lonely, and depressed. I have referred to him as my twin sister. My favorite song by him, which I own on vinyl, is "Beat It". I also enjoy Bad, and Billy Jean. However, his music is not within my genre, which is rock. Other favorite music is from the rock artists (groups) listed above.
Jonesers were given huge expectations as children in the optimistic 1960s, and then confronted with a different reality as they came of age in the pessimistic 1970s, leaving them with a certain unrequited, jonesing quality. The "Peace Sign" and &rew Lerner were created on 2/21/1958.

Free Luggage
2 large suitcases for free! They are matching brown vinyl and blue fabric, with four hard frame sides each. The handles are very comfortable. Both of them have working zippers, and are fully functional. One still has the inner pockets. Purchased in Sears. I have too much luggage, do not travel, and prefer to have space in my closets. The dimensions are 24"x29"x9.25" and 21"x26.25"x9.25". They want to travel. (free) &rew. Click on this picture on the left, and all pictures, for an enlargement! Also, please remember and click on the title of this posting ("Free Luggage") and the titles of all of my postings. This posting's title will search all of the Furniture listings I have in Craigslist.org. I also have postings in the Electronics and Free catagories. Search for "&rew" on Craigslist. To see all that I have sold on Craigslist, and the amounts that I sold them for, please click here. I frequently update older postings using red font like this. What is your reaction to this posting? The suitcases were brought to the Good Will store on 7/8/9.

Questions
Should I look for the same type of work for employment? (click here) Should I instead train for something I enjoy? (click here) Do I have talent in Advertising, marketing, and graphic design? (click here)
My 1999 Escort is too low and too confining for me. I can just barely fit through the door opening. I have to fall down sideways to drop onto the very low seat. It has 72K miles, 10-CD changer and no issues otherwise. It is selling for $5,000.00. My automobile insurance is $500/year. Should I purchase a Toyota RAV 4? (click here) There are government incentives to buy a new vehicle. Should I wait until it is available in a hybrid? (click here) Should I wait until I get a job where I must commute to Miami Florida? (click here)
I have just learned that Fortunoff is now defunct. I am shocked. Fortunoff was liquidated on February 23, 2009. This is the date I was laid off from my last employment. Circuit City was liquidated soon afterward. Both of these businesses have been around since 1922 and 1949. They were my first (1979) and longest (1999) employers! I knew and worked with the original Fortunoff family members! I also worked at these companies that are out of business: Hoffritz for Cutlery, Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co., Chemical Bank, Gateway Country, and The Wiz.

Modifications for Additions
May 28, 2009 $590.00 Description Of Work:
Painted my Living room, Dining room, Kitchen and hallway walls latex satin. The Kitchen was painted a different color. The painter removed the cabinets from the Kitchen wall, the 8 doors from the cabinets, and the five panels from the draws. He took them to his shop to sand, prime, and then paint them with an oil base paint. He then put everything back on with all new hinges. As a bonus, He touched up my fireplace black, and the second color, and replaced my light fixture with a chandelier I just purchased.
THOMAS SCOTT took down all five window curtains (I just put up), patched my very many holes from renovations, painted and returned all of the brand new curtains and rods in record time. He moved both my five piece brand new Living room set and five piece brand new Dining Room set. He even moved out the tremendous brand new Armoire out of a tight fit alcove to paint behind it. He moved cabinets at my request to accommodate a new refrigerator. All of the cabinets and draws are beautiful, and so much better than before, they are like new! He made recommendations to do extra work at no additional charge to make things look even better! He is a careful, detail oriented, and experienced professional.
June 05, 2009 $200.00 Description Of Work:
Joe Holmes pulled out my brand new refrigerator, and leveled it. This was to offset the flooring I removed. He repaired my window sill where I removed the marble. He sawed off an half inch from the side of the counter top to accommodate proper door opening. He replaced the baseboard I had removed beyond the refrigerator. He sawed a hole into the back of my brand new Entertainment Center, so I can access the back of my brand new HD 46 TV.
These postings were performed using my brand new HD computer system. It is my first in ten years, and uses the Vista operating system. I function with the Aspie operating system. I purchased a brand new 46 LCD HD TV, SS French door Refrigerator, and Armoire. Each cost about $1700. All of them just barely tightly fit into all their prospective snug alcoves! All of them required removal of inhibiting wood or and moldings!
