Apparently, I have nothing to worry about concerning the transmission of my 1999 Ford Escort. Since it has 68,000 miles on it, and I use it 1200 miles per year, at a longevity of 136,000 miles, it will last me until I am age 104! Otherwise, my choice is the Toyota Rav 4 shown below.
