First time @ SSC

http://andrewlerner.blogspot.com/ if you are reading this in FaceBook.

Visited SSC for the first time today. It was at the newest campus, which is one of two in Lake Mary. This Heathrow location is very modern and beautiful. I started registering, and received my photo ID card and parking sticker. Seminole State College starts its first BA degree design program at this designing course location on January 11, 2010. I will start with this first semester of SSC in my Graphic Design major. This will be my fourth college, and my second or third degree. I can continue my BS at this same location, on AAA Drive. AAA may be the grades that I have drive for. However, AAA is also the national headquarters for Drivers everywhere. It is one more mile from my previous and longest employer, along International Pkwy. This means 2.5 miles from home.

Lynx will offer new service to Seminole State College’s Center for Economic Development at Heathrow beginning Dec. 7. Link 45 in Lake Mary will extend service west to serve Seminole State’s Heathrow campus off International Parkway and will provide a connection between the college’s Heathrow and Sanford/Lake Mary campuses.Service will be available hourly from 5:57 a.m.-7:57 p.m. Monday-Friday, and from 6:27 a.m.-7:27 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Westin Lake Mary Orlando North, opened on Nov. 20. The $50 million hotel, owned by YRG Hotel Group II LLC, covers more than 363,700 square feet on International Parkway in Lake Mary and includes 14,000 square feet of meeting space, a pool and a Shula’s 347 Grill — the only one in Central Florida.“After we get past the [traditionally slow] holiday season, we expect to pick up our staff to about 165 total employees,” said Steven Ragsdale, general manager at the hotel, where rooms run $109 per night. The upside to new hotels like the Westin is they not only bring jobs for local workers, but they also provide the area “with something fresh to attract individuals from outside locations,” said Rich Maladecki, president of the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association. Jobs are eagerly welcomed right now in Central Florida, as the region faces one of the highest unemployment rates — 11.4 percent for October — in decades, said Workforce Central Florida, an employment agency.

Each box, below the date below, corresponds to the letter of your choice: A = Funny. B = Informative. C = Clever. D = Disagree. E = Excellent. F = Frivolous. 1) Please place your cursor arrow onto the little white box, next to the letter, that represents your selection. 2) press down to click. 3) A check mark will then appear, showing that you have voted. The counter for that box, will increment by your one rating (#).
